An old Nigerian Handbook mentions the presence north of Ogoja, none now there. Confirmation seems to come from Munshi hunters near Alifokpa in that neighbourhood about 1925 - maybe these are strays from the Gongola region.[Ogoja, 6.40 N, 8.47 E] |
