1993 October, a pair Diceros bicornis was reintroduced. They are now breeding. The rhinos are housed in a 14 kmy rhino sanctuary within the park, protected by electrified fences and guarded by game scouts. An agreement has been reached to procure 2 further females from Mozambique. |
