In Assam a rhino was shot with a horn 24 ΒΌ inches in length, exceeding by over 4 inches the previous record in the Ipswich Museum. In height the animal stood 6 ft 4 in. It was shot by Mr T. Briscoe, a planter in the Tezpur district |
