In a letter dated Torino, 6 February 1751 written by Vitaliano Donati to Antonio Cav. Valliesnieri
Writes that he say the rhinoceros in Milan - this must have been 1750 or 1751
He examined the horn. Was told that it had been cut off when the animal was in Naples.
