Details: Caloi & alii ascribed the rhinoceros lower tooth from Sedia del Diavolo (p. 187) to Dicerorhinus sp. Later, Fortelius (1981) assigned the same remains to Dicerorhinus hemitoechus Falc. (v. in Fortelius, 1981. The rhinoceros from Sedia Diavolo (Rome) is Dicerorhinus hemitoechus. Quaternaria, 23:143-144, Roma).
