Visits Lucknow in 1802 [117] Visit to the palace of the Nawaub. Having breakfasted with his Excellency, I went to see his menagerie. A few deer of the country, a tiger-cat, and rhinoceros were also there. (Later describes fights of elephants, and of a tiger and buffalo, but no rhinos involved.) + George Annesley, 2nd Earl of Mountnorris FRS (4 December 1770 – 23 July 1844), styled Viscount Valentia between 1793 and 1816, was a British peer and politician.
