A 10-year-old rhinoceros was crushed to death by a train near Dilli Camp village under Naurangaia police station area of West Champaran district on Monday night. The forest officer said that the animal might be crossing tracks after moving out from nearby Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve in West Champaran district of the State. Driver, deputy driver and guard of the train were taken into custody following the incident but later released on the bail.One Rhinoceros each was killed in similar train accidents during 2007 and 2008.
