The rh inocero s horn, a very d ifferen t o rgan, conta ins dense ly a ligned co lum n- shaped threadlike fibers, and them icrostructure of its cortex is un ique. Therefore, a quick iden tification m e thod, easy to be opera ted and popular ized, w as proposed according to the essentia l d ifferences betw een the rh inocero s ho rn and the im itation w ith sim ilarm orpholog ica l features to rh ino ce ros horn.
