Original text on this topic:
It all started with the baby rhinoceros. Reggie named him Riley, and as Bill could not transport the little three-week-old orphan by car from Tanganyika to Rhodesia, Reggie agrees to take him home. Tanganyika is changing and the day of the white hunter is nearly over. The rescue of Riley, the growth of the liithe rhino and the fate that subsequently befalls him, are symbolic of the changes that are taking place.
A novel.
