The professional hunters trade with the freemen for dura and money, using for this purpose meat, honey, elephant tusks, rhinoceros horns, and giraffe tails. Their occupation requires a more or less nomadic life, at least during the dry months of the year, and their huts and granaries are smaller than those of the freemen. (p.269)
