Kinds in Namibia. The rhino in the Kaokofeld of Namibia is Opsiceros occidentalis.
However, in the Hukwefeld, the rhino is the same size as the East African Opsiceros species, therefore larger than O. occidentalis, a height at the shoulders of about 1.60 m and a body length of 3.50 m. J.H. Wilhelm formerly owned an anterior horn of a large male with a length of 25 cm and a diameter of 9 cm at the root. The posterior horn is very small. The hide is almost smooth and there is a prominent extension of the upper lip.
