An Indian Rhinoceros was recorded as having been shot in Assam by Mr. T. Briscome, carrying a horn of 24 ? inch. [62.2 cm]
According to Lydekker the largest horn previously recorded was one of 24 inches formerly in the possession of Dr. Jerdon, and in the Records of Big Game one of 21 ? inch is mentioned as having been shot by Lord Curzon in Nepal.
