Behaviour - Towards Man |

Black Rhino |
I consider the rhino an overrated beast and cannot think that he cannot be really dangerous in any but thick country. He certainly will charge, unprovoked at times, but it is only a blundering resentment at the unwelcome scent of the intruder. A shot at close quarters will almost invariably turn him. I have seen a large number, but have never been charged by one.
