Old male shot at Tasikmalaja, Java in 1934. Total weight was 2280 kg. In this case all parts of the meat and skeleton, as well as the sexual parts, were weighed with a transportable scale. The total weight of the skin was calculated in pikols (10 coolies were needed for the picoling of the skin, 1 pikol is 60 kg, total therefore 600 kg.)
For blood and other fluids like stomach content it was taken as 150 kg.

Skull including brains and horn, 38 kg.
Weight of fresh horn was 986 grams, of dried horn 847 grams.
