The following rhino wallows were reported. In Sumatra's Westcoast. Between 1927 and 1930, I heard that in a large village situated on the west bank of the Lake Singkarak, near Panindjawan, a rhinoceros passed through the village at night to drink from the lake. When one realises that near this lake the dense forests of the inaccessible Boekit Barisan start, this can be understood.
