Vignette p. 101, 77x90 mm. Two distinct species of the two-horned rhinoceros are found in South Africa. The figure in the vignette at page 110 was drawn from life by Mr. Melvill, and conveys an accurate representation of the species which abounds most in the Bechuana country.
