Three broad categories of vegetation can be recognized: (1) Aquatic plants; (2) Eastern wet alluvial savannah or grassland, (3) Woodland or tree forests. Out of 138 one-minute gruds into which the park is divided, 37 have high suitability, 94 moderate and 7 low suitability for rhino.
