The forest department recently received word that 3 Sumatran Rhino had been killed in Chaiyaphoom Province in the northeastern part of Thailand. This news was received with some scepticism at first, since Sumatran rhinos had not been reported from the north-east in many years; later investigations proved that there had been indeed a rhino kill.
