1. Due to continuous siltation inside the sanctuary, all wetlands become dry during December to April every year. During this season the rhino go out of the sanctuary in search of water resources to the adjacent cultivated areas. 2. The profuse regeneration of Albizzia procera appears to have caused dimunition of grass lands. 3. Out of total 70% grasslands, apournd 30% area have been degraded due to overgrazing of livestock. An average 536 individual livestock grazed inside the sanctuary during the winter season.
