Ceratotherium simum. In 1974, eight (4/4) animals introduced from Umfolozi. One adult male escaped to Wankie, 2 adult females died, apparently as a result of external abscesses developing septicaemia. One calf produced died soon after birth. Total in 1976: 5 animals. - Lion Ranch, Near Wankie NP
