The “Rhinoceros gallery” was born in 2018 in an exhibition space in the Foro Boarium, an area of central importance in ancient Rome, which today sees its fulcrum in the splendid Arch of Janus. The redevelopment of the area includes the recovery and renovation - by the archistar Jean Nouvel - of the historic building called "Rhinoceros", between the Velabro, the Palatine and the Bocca della Verità. The artistic spaces of the gallery, wind along the six floors of the building and culminate with the space of "Rhinoceros Entr'acte - Le Restau de la Galerie", the restaurant of the "Rhinoceros gallery" and the vision of the panoramic terraces. Six floors dedicated to art, with a strong and unconventional sign, an engine of creativity and a place of culture to produce experiments in absolute freedom and which are characterised by exhibitions, multimedia creations, action, artistic interferences ranging from the visual arts to those performative, but also a module for living and experiencing art and art. |
