This s the make rhinoceros drawn in 1739 by James Parsons and then included in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. Engraving signed by Jefferys, who may have been Thomas Jefferys (1719-1771), known as mapmaker. It was published in the New and Complete Dictionary of Arts, second edition of 1764, at p. 2726.
