Plate 1 from the German translation (issued separately) dated 1747 of the paper by James Parsons, which first appeared in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society in London.<br>This version of the booklet (in Zurich) has the inscription "tab.I" on top right, no further indication of the artists involved. Note that the Heidelberg copy elsewhere reproduced has a different inscription.<br>It shows two views of the male rhinoceros seen in London in 1739 |
