On the sixth day, God created the animals. The rhino is found behind the cow at the right, next to the camel. Scheuchzer was a founder of paleobotany and European paleontology, as well as a professor of mathematics and physics. he believed the Old Testament was a factual account of the history of the world. He set out to reconcile the Bible with modern science in his Physica Sacra and thus prove the existance of God through science. |
