Hello,

I am looking for information about how to visually age a rhino calve for either black or white rhino. Can anyone advice me some literature or information on this subject? I have unfortunately not been able to find much about the subject besides aging through dentition.

Help much appreciated!

Hi L Hofstra

The African Rhino Specialist Group have Standardized field rhino-ageing guides. These are used in most countries with African rhino

You can download the picture guides for white and black rhino at my dropbox
