Large areas vs Small Numbers - inbreeding
There are some 13,000 black rhinos left in the wild. That is our best guess and it could be a few thousand out either way. Too many populations are remote and too many under impene- trable cover to give us a better fix. 13,000 doesn't sound beyond hope... |
