Many years ago secimens of Ceratotherium simum were sent from Natal to Ndumu and Mkuzi Game Reserves. Specimens also to Lruger NP. About a year ago [1963] 2 pairs were brought to Loskop Dam GR, and now there is the nirth of the first calf.
