Rhinoceros unicornis - Basel Zoo. The 20th rhino was born on 29 Feb 1984 called Gandak. Mother is Tanaya, father Arjun. The calf died on 11 March from a complicated wound on its spine, it had become lame and had to be euthanized. It fell from the rocks into the pool.
