1968, March, attempt to capture 2 white rhino in the Matetsi area north of the park. Origin unknown, as 4 had been released in Victoria Falls NP. In the darting, the male was hit in a vein and died. The female was transported to the Linkwasha (Inkwazi) vlei in Wankie NP.
