Found in S.E. Angola from time to time at the source of the Lubia, tributary of the middle Kwando. On the Lohandungu, on the upper Lujana and its tributaries the Lomgi with Tondo and Lomuma, and the thronbush jungle to the south of this up to 60 km NW of Andara. A population of about 500 animals. Also found north of the Lujana in the county Garange and south of its junction with the Kwando along it. Measurements of 4 specimens shot in SE Angola, Tonda area.
