A palaeoreconstruction of the Isernia-La Pineta (Molise, S-Italy) late Middle Pleistocene site, very famous as the most ancient European palaeolithic site (ca 600 kys BP): Stephanorhinus hundsheimensis Toula is present here together with some other peculiar members of the Isernia-La Pineta fauna: four hominids, Homo heidelbergensis archaic form (two of them are dealing with their prey, the big cervid Praemegaceros solilhacus), four elephants (Palaeoloxodon antiquus), some bisons (Bison schoetensacki) by the Italian expert Gianfranco Mensi.
