Dear experts, is their an answer, why their are two first discribers for rhinocertidae and which one is to prefer? And is their an article about this problem for citation? Thank you very much and sincerly

There are not two first describers of the name for the family of rhinoceroses. Gray (1821) used the spelling Rhynocerotidae. Owen (1845) then was the first to use the alternative spelling of Rhinocerotidae, which we use today. Both references are on the site and you can check what they wrote.
