I just came accross this terrible story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7217866.stm A female Indian Rhino survived for 35 hours after being shot twice and after her horn was removed. The horrifying picture is in our image database. I hope this reaches the world, as the only good thing about this story is that it has the potential to raise awareness.
